VINTAGE STYLE GRANNY SQUARE PIN CUSHION
I made a granny square from scraps of yarn.
Then I got a very cheap IKEA fleece blanket - which doesn’t fray when cut (yay!).
I cut a rectangle of the IKEA fleece which was about 1cm larger all the way round, when folded in half, than the granny square.
I hand-stitched 3 sides of the granny square to the folded-in-half rectangle with the front of the granny facing the fleece.
Then I turned the granny inside out, so that it formed a pocket of fleece into which I put the toy stuffing.
I stitched up the 4th side and voila!
Dead cute.
