Remember this yarn? Now I’ve knitted a shawl from one of the skeins. It’s a lovely, warm fall colour, 100% merino 2 ply Lace yarn. I’ve used needles size 4 and spent a little less than a full skein. The yarn was purchased from Saffron Dyework through their Etsy store. A gorgeous, soft yarn, extremely nice to knit from.
The pattern is called Butterfly Wings Shawl. I just want to warn you that there are several errors in the diagrams, making it a bit of a puzzle to finish. But, the result turned out nice! I have to admit that a shawl with this many pattern details probably would look even better in a single-colored yarn.
