Notes

I ended up giving this to my sister who really liked it. She then decided that she wasn’t so much of a shawl person, so she asked if she could give it to our Great Aunt instead, and apparently she loves it. Which is all that really matters. It is a gorgeous shawl and I’m glad that she loves it as much as I do.

Ok, so I didn’t finish in time for the get together. But now that it is finished, I really like it. The charts were easy to follow and it was a great pattern to make. The yarn was loverly. Thanks to PeanutGallery for that!

This shawl is for the SF Rav get together to be a part of the sport your shawl KAL. But I didn’t realize how quick time passes until I only had a week and a half to finish. Yikes!!! SOS!!!

Yarn is hand dyed from PeanutGa11ery. Her description of the yarn: “You rootin’ tootin’ yellow-livered… er, not that Yosemite.

Strong, tranquil and a force to be admired, the granite and waterfall national park my great grandfather once helped found was the inspiration for this colorway. Sequoias tower, granite thrusts proudly upward, and waterfalls spectacularly veil those incredible mountains. Who wouldn’t want to slip their tootsies into this silky-smooth, bouncy premium sock yarn?

My hand-painted yarn will remind you of nature’s finest.

My sock yarn consists of 400 yards of 20% bamboo-and-80% merino superwash, approx. 100 grams. This yarn is a fingering weight, approx 5-7 sts per inch“
