Long sleeves: rejoin yarn, knit 1 round, pick up and K 3 (5) stitches at underarm. Knit 9 rows. Next row, decrease 2 stitches in center of underarm. Repeat these ten rows two times. (33 stitches for larger size). Knit until piece measures 4.5 inches from underarm. Knit 8 rows garter stitch and BO.

Also, when yoke is complete and separating sleeves from body, I picked up the same number of stitches at underarm as is recommended for sleeve so the underarm would match.
