Using stash yarn a lot of it is stylecraft special dk and also added some hayfield bonus.

In the main I have enjoyed making this blanket, it has kept my interest because of the variety of patterns and the changing colours. I found the star part of the pattern quite challenging and it took me quite a while to get it right but looking at the blanket now that it’s finished those stars are the star of the show they really make the blanket and it was well worth the effort.
I am totally in love with the mosaic process even though the blanket took longer to grow because sc is such a small stitch but it’s worth it. I look at this blanket and think did I really make something as beautiful as this and I hope that the recipient will love it just as much.

Things I would do differently if I made the blanket again, if using dk - although I increased the number of stitches to 196 I would increase them more to correspond with the star pattern so that there would be 5 stars and 2 extra stitches on each side as this blanket has turned out long and narrow.
