Notes

Weaving the full width of my 10” Cricket with an 8dpi reed.

For warp, I have 7 colors to work with so I am going to a 3.5yd-ish warp of 1” sections, repeating the Chipmunk on each end and in the middle using the Direct Warp Method.

Warping order,
6 ends Chipmunk
8 ends Orca
8 ends Tabby
8 ends Obsidan
16 ends Chipmunk
8 ends Snowshoe
8 ends Tarantella
8 ends Tahitian Pearl
6 ends Chipmunk

For weft I am going to use up all the little crocheted ends from Carla’s Hexagon Scarf. That is why this is a drunken plaid as the little bundles of weft will be chosen at random. The only rule being, I can’t have the same colors touching, other than that it is totally random, giving a random plaid effect.
