I always love learning new skills when I knit these animals. I was really worried when I started knitting the tail, and was so pleased to see it magically turn into that darling curl. I wanted it to show, so I added a “5 stitch, one row buttonhole” to the skirt. At first I found the crochet stripes quite challenging. Once I started checking the back to make sure my contrast color was lining up inside the knit stitch, the stripe looked much better. Am so happy to have a new friend in my collection.
