After two practice bunnies with wool yarn, I decided to try the rabbits in cotton so they would match their name. The blue footed bunny was my first one and it’s head is very big and the ears are floppy. On the red footed bunny I went down to 2.5 mm needles for the head and ears and added a second strand of yarn to the ears to give them a little extra body, so they would stand up. I debated redoing the first head, but after looking at it’s sweet little face I just didn’t have the heart to destroy it. They could just be best friends instead of twins!
