This is a delightful little knit, that fits well when done. I am in-between a medium and large so I went down needle sizes and followed the 52 stitch count pattern. ( I used US 00 for just the tubular cast on and off “set-up” rounds. )
The first mitt I used the text instructions and the second the chart. I liked the chart better, because it was easy to do without the first marker. I found it a bit finicky to handle moving the slip yarn to the back and a right increase with the marker on my needle.
I added an extra decrease round to the thumb.
Once you get past the cuff ribbing it is pure fun.
