I was working on a project that had a large section of stockinette stitch and was in need of something to break up the monotony. These little guys were the ticket.
It was the first time I had used the weighted beads. I ended up putting them in a sock as the pattern suggested, so my grandchildren could play with them.
Decided to play with the pattern a bit when I got to the third one. I found a thirteen stitch stranded repeat pattern and used a purl stitch for the fourteenth stitch and all the increase stitches. Also did a little latvian braid for the hat brim.

Found out a friend really likes gnomes so made this recent one with two strands of the Istex Plotulopi.
