I love to make this designer’s hats, they always go together so beautifully and its fun to play with the colors.

Modifications:
Brim:
Used US 0 and long tail tubular cast on, and 4 set up rows with copper. Switched to US 2, knit row with Kelly Green then did 9 rows of 1X1 rib.

Crown:
My row gauge was less than the pattern so I did the crown with US 0. It also helped to keep the top from getting pointy. I like to use markers between my pattern repeats. The body of the hat has 7, 24 stitch repeats and the crown has 6, 24 stitch repeats, so I took out my body repeat markers for the first two rows of the crown and put the crown repeat markers in during row 3 decrease round.
