After looking at the Sampler Stole from Gathering of Lace and the Unst Stole by Sharon Miller, I realized that both stoles had similar design features. I combined my own spider and diamonds center, sampler border, and edging to create my own unique stole. It was very easy to do with the help of Sharon Miller’s Heirloom Knitting book. I also learned a lot; in particular, I learned how to chart lace patterns. I am quite proud of the results. It feels so luxurious to wrap around me.
