Started with a foundation single crochet for stretchiness. Did 72 stitches, but took me four tries to realize it needed to be multiples of 6.

My three year old loved her crown - she picked out the pink and blue.

Pattern was very easy and now I know it by memory. I’m making another for my two year and plan on making many more for my on hand inventory.

UPDATE Both crowns I made lasted only about a week due to my toddlers constantly taking them off and putting them back on. They are plenty durable but have been stretched out so much that they don’t fit anymore. I washed them and they shrunk some but not back to their original sizes. I’m not sure how to remedy this. I can always make more but it seems like a waste of time if the outcome will be the same.
