I wanted to try tunisian crochet since months, but i never found the proper project until now. I was looking for a gift for my swappee when i had the idea to cross-stitch her favorites Doctor Who’s companions on a potholder.
Inspired by the works of wee little stitches, i made my own pattern of Amy Pond and Rory Williams.
The result is thick potholder worked in a soft cotton.

• July 15th: After days of drawing up charts and making samples, i’m starting the front side in afghan stitch with the ecru yarn.
• July 16th: Front side done: 33sts by 39 rows
• July 20th: Finished to cross stitch the Ponds!
• July 21th: Made the back side in half double crochet stitch with a red yarn held double. Also joined both sides together with the red yarn and added a loop. Hop, now it’s time to go to the washing machine!
