1/24/15: I had to start on this today. I don’t even have all my yarn, but it’s calling me. I don’t understand the first line of the pattern, so I’m waiting for clarification on “ch 141, but these do not count as the first row…”. I have to order the rest of my yarn next weekend, but until then… “get us out from under, Wonder Woman!!!”

2/9/15: The weaving in the yarn ends is for the birds. It’s crocheting up pretty fast though. I also hate carrying the yarns on the back (intarsia). The rest of my Red Heart yarn was delivered yesterday from Herrschnners.

2/11/15: Picture #8 shows the rippling that the borders are doing… maybe because the center logo is pulled tight by the color changes and the threads. Oh well… it is what it’s going to be. The pattern is rather confusing, so I’m making do as I understand it. I’m ending up with more shells lengthwise and widthwise than what the pattern calls for, but, it is what it’s going to be.

8/13/15: I finally finished it tonight. Not really happy with it at all, but it does cover me when I watch TV. Still not understanding why the center draws in and the borders still ripple. I guess the weight of it smoothed out some of the ripples. My verdict is that the pattern was poorly written.
