10/7/12: 9:00pm: I’m making these for me.

12:47am: On the last row before binding off, I’m decreasing to make the opening a little tighter, then doing the stretchy bind-off. I’m using the same decrease row as the last decrease row, before the W&T starts. I’m slipping a k2tog decrease after the 1 slipped stitch (I slip all my beginning row stitches = a habit from picking up stitches), and at the last 3 stitches (k2tog, k1). We’ll see how snug this makes the slipper.

10/8/12: 10:42pm: These have to be the easiest slippers to make! I did do the extra decreases on the last row before the stretchy bind-off, but for the next pair, I’ll do 2 rows of decreases before the stretchy BO. I also crocheted a row of SC around the sole. I made the size 10 and they’re a bit roomy… should have made the 9.5. I used brown felt for the insole.
