Notes

A fascinating offset Tunisian filet design! Really fun to see this take shape. The scarf is light as a whisper, but surprisingly warm.

Foundation slip stitch (http://crochetpatterncompanion.blogspot.com/2011/05/which...) was used instead of a traditional chain stitch so that the beginning edge would be less floppy. This was not necessary since I decided at the end to make this into a loop scarf, so the beginning edge became part of the seam

I decreased the number of stitches in each row to 54 for a narrower scarf.

It took a couple of tries to figure out the best size hook and appropriate tension. With this yarn the “lifting” technique produces a more symmetrical diamond than “riding” (http://crochetpatterncompanion.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-t...).
