I knit the beginning at least twice and it still turned out way too big, which I noticed only when I had finished (too small circulars to try on). So the only choice was to narrow it down afterwards. For months this skirt lay around waiting for me to get to it. Finally I sowed two seams to the sides and now it fits perfectly. I added a lace as a belt, the lace has been crocheted by my husbands grandmother.

I call it The Skirt for a Restless Knitter, because the lace pattern changes so often, even I didn’t get bored!
