This yarn is absolutely beautiful to look at and to work with. And it’s impossible to capture its colors and sheen in this lighting today. This adorable poncho pattern is beautifully textured and easy to work up. As a smalI personal edit, I did the first pattern repeat ALL in the back loop to differentiate it somewhat from the rest of the repeats visually.
The first skein got me nearly through the 12-18 month size. I’m getting ready to add the 2nd skein. (EDIT: Kayli came over this weekend, and I checked the fit. She’s a bitty thing, and it fit perfectly once I finished that pattern repeat) My granddaughter will be 3 in a few weeks.
I also have a granddaughter that’s not yet a year old, so I may get lucky and be able to make a matching, much smaller one for her. We shall see how much I have left over. (EDIT: Plenty left to make a smaller matching one for Cora!)
Excuse the model’s first time ever trying to pose for her Meema. :) She love’s it; but of course I couldn’t get a proper photo of it. It does hang properly, and has plenty of drape.
