I had this in my stash so looked for a simple pattern that wouldn’t look too odd with the short color runs of this yarn…

I enjoy crocheting clusters… they just seem to have such a nice rhythm to them. I feared getting bored with this one, but instead its just flying along. It makes a great pattern to binge watch TV with :)

Still cruising along with this one on and off. It’s getting to be a nice size now and I’ve actually put a major dent in this large skein with it. I haven’t decided if I’ll add the second yet or not; I’ll wait to see how far I get with this one… there’s still a border to consider.

I probably only have enough in this first skein for 3 or 4 more rows of clusters then I’ll get a measurement and decide whether to continue on or find a nice border for it…

Ok, it measures nearly square at this point, 30X31” using one of these big skeins. I could block it square easily. I would kind of like it to be more rectangular but my concern is that when I attach the new skein it won’t continue the sort of unique stripey on opposite sides thing it had been doing… lol. If I leave it this size that would leave another whole skein of this to do matching things with, like a hat, sweater, booties and small pillow perhaps.
I may ponder on this a bit…

I haven’t forgotten about this one… I seriously just haven’t found the 2nd skein, lol. I can’t believe it but I have actually misplaced a huge skein of yarn! Gonna dig in the closet later, maybe I tossed it in there. :)

I FINALLY found the other skein! It was driving me nuts, and had pretty much given up… Then I unexpectedly found it stuffed in the back of the hall closet, lol… no idea how it ended up there, I never put yarn in there. :)

Attached the found skein and am continuing on. The plan is to keep going until it’s a nice size rectangular size, then find a nifty border for it, although keeping it simple might be best for this pattern. We’ll see how it goes.

This has been languishing for a long time in my unfinished projects bin. News of another grandchild and the New Year coming right up caused me to finish this one up quickly. Its crib sized, and I ended off with a simple sc, ch3, sc border. Soft and lovely.

Whipped up a quick newborn hat with the left over yarn. Used my favorite go to pattern, Charmed Cloche by Maria Bittner.
Getting ready to start in on a pair of booties; will probably have enough yarn left to make a small pillow or perhaps a lovey…

Booties complete, using the simple ‘Roll-Tops’ pattern, by Hayley Missingham. As can be seen, one bootie came out significantly lighter; but with the oddly patterned color changes in this yarn, it couldn’t be helped. I can’t figure out if I think its cute, or just annoying.
Then I started a small sweater, got all the pieces done but my sewing skills are so rusty its ridiculous, after I got it all together, I didn’t like it, plus the arms came out too long, lol… So, I will probably frog those pieces and fool around with the bootie pattern again to see if I can manage 2 that look more similar colorwise. :)

And it finally found it’s home with my youngest grandson Cole. ![ heart](https://style-cdn.ravelrycache.com/images/twemoji/2764.png)
