Beautiful yarn coupled with C2C linen stitch… makes a gorgeously soft, drapey fabric-like, no holes blanket for my brand new grandson, Cole born earlier this month.

I would prefer it to be rectangular, and I did make an attempt at doing so by decreasing on one side only but I couldn’t quite get the hang of making the decreased side look right. That was worrying me. So I frogged it back and went with the pattern. Oddly, I’m decreasing now on both sides and it looks fine. No clue why.

I realized that I hastily began decreasing too soon as my aim was to do 2 full skeins then begin decreasing while using the remaining 2 skeins. So I needed to be less concerned with row count in an effort to use up all 4 skeins.

I frogged it back and continued on without the decreasing and am now back at the beginning of the decreasing rows attaching my 3rd skein to do so.

Just about finished with this one, just a small corner left to do; will likely do at least a sc border around it to finish it up. Pic soon. Absolutely lovely yarn to work with, some of the softest I’ve ever used - the drape is awesome. Love it.
