This was based on the tutorial from A Home Grown Journal.

A very time consuming project!! I pressed each strip of fabric , folding them do the pretty side of the fabric was on the outside. I them warped them around squares of cardboard to keep them straight.

I’ve tried crocheting a rug from fabric before but it looked sloppy and I was unhappy with the result. Using this technique I was very happy with the finished project!

Each strip of fabric was approximately 10 yds. I used approximately 320 yards.
