This is the first of the series of ten blankets which our group in Manta, Ecuador is making for an orphange here. They will be given to the children. Some of the shapes are crocheted, some knitting, some tunisian stitched and some fabric crocheted around.
These are all then crocheted around in a main colour and then crocheted together. The group has entrusted me to the putting together which is no mean task as it seems to fill all my time! But I love doing it and I think that it shows in the final product which I would love to have for myself. While I still have them I put them on my bed as they are just so wonderful.
