For many years I have collected and made doilies. Some of them are vintage pieces of my Grandmothers and many of them are so fine that it must have taken years to make them.

These I have never known what to do with but I could not throw them away. So I decided to crochet them all together into this curtain which has really done wonders for the small entrance and now turned it into a little gallery for my paintings.

The tassel on the opposite wall I made years ago too and carried it about where it hung (sometimes in the way I might add) looking OK but without a home. This too I have dyed to match the curtain and with the length of lace that I made to trial out an edging pattern, I think it has all come together quite nicely.
NOTE: the tassel in the second picture is the original color that I did it in. I will be adding some closeup pictures of the lace soon.
