Need another stash buster project that can go to knit-nites. This pattern has been done with all weights of yarn. The yarn I’m planning to use is listed as lace weight, but I thought it was fingering weight when I bought it. So randomly decided to try it and use #5 needle. We shall see!
Got started on this project this afternoon at Loot & XP. Yarn is very splitty and the Hiya Hiya Sharp needles I’m using are extra pointy - not an ideal combination.

The colors of this yarn are working up really nicely with the pattern. Not sure how well this will block with the high acrylic and low wool ratio. May have to “kill” it.

I feel like I have been working on this scarf forever! And still have 57 grams left in the skein!!! Splitty yarn annoys me. But the colors are pretty.

This project kind of on the back burner for a while. Still find the yarn annoyingly splitty and so not a joy to work with in lace work. Have added a few rows from time to time. Keeping it in active WIP pile for now.

Really trying to like this pattern, but I so very much hate the yarn that it’s been a roadblock to getting this WIP finished. Picked it up for the first time in ages - YEP - I still hate this yarn. I have never seen anything so splitty! And sticky! If you have to tink back it can be a nightmare!!
Really want to power through and get this scarf done. But if the yarn continues to be demoralizing, I may end it and turn the scarf into a cowl and call it done!!!

LATER THAT DAY: It is done. It is a cowl.
