12-28-2021

Since Erinn fell in love with the first poncho I made using this pattern, I gave that one to her and decided to make this new one for me.
For expediency sake, I am going with aran weight yarn this time (rather than fingering) - but actually very similar colors!

Got this going nicely today. And will probably widen the stripes of MC as I progress down toward the bottom. Also thinking about adding buttons and loops to create arm openings at the hem somehow.

Finished first skein of tan yarn so going to do the ribbed neckband next.

01-22-2022

Neck band 2x2 ribbing done. Back to the body of the poncho. Increased the stripes by 4 rows of stockinette, so continuing doing increases on every 4th row.

03-23-2022

Finally finished - actually like the fit! Ended up doing a 2x2 ribbing in the black at the bottom to match the same size ribbing in taupe at the neck.
Fits nicely!
