Almost finished with the body of the sweater - working on the bottom ribbing - doing k1tbl, p1 ribbing. Looks like a good fit. Not thrilled with the neckline. Maybe blocking will help that. If not, I might have to rip it out a few rows and knit upwards.

Body done and on to the sleeves. That neck edge is still bugging me - might try just a single crochet edge around the neck.

Finished! Had to lengthen the sleeves a couple inches before the 4” ribbed cuffs. I decided to not do any waist shaping, just kept the body even knit from underarms to bottom edge. I actually don’t think I even need to block this sweater. The proportions came out just fine.

Faded color changes in this sweater are very dark, so don’t photo so well with inside with lamp light. May need to get some outside photos later on.

Still not completely in love with the neckline, but need to wear it a couple times before I tackle redesigning it. Knitting in the opposite direction (up rather than down) means the ribbing and/or stitches won’t line up.
Options: do reverse stockinette rolled neck edge - or - knit an I-cord edge
