Stash Buster -- AND Road Trip project

So, I’ve used 37% of my yarn in the garter rows. Looking at a few other projects worked with 100 grams of fingering weight, I decided to work to 219 stitches and then finally get to work on the lace chart.

Into the lace work, ended up with 21 pattern repeats, and decided to add silver lined crystal beads as indicated in the chart.

Chart done through Row 18 and all suggested rows of beading done. Beads are kinda hard to see in the photos, but they are there!

Up to 569 stitches per row now, but past all the fancy lace work. Just want to run the yarn skein out now.

Definitely going to run out of yarn before finishing - 10 rows and BO left to be done yet and down to 12.5 grams of the skein. Need to start weighing remainder of skein after each row. Then decide whether BO early or add remaining last rows in a contrast color.

Row 39 used exactly 2 grams (down to 10.5 grams). Definitely not enough yarn to finish chart.

Row 40 used 2 grams (down to 8.5 grams)
Row 41 used 2 grams (down to 6.5 grams)
Had to go with a “yarn chicken” stretchy lace bind of at this point.
I’ll get this blocked and measured tomorrow.

Wet blocked size 90” around long outside edge, and 15-1/2” deep at center.
21 lace points, 6 beads each = 126 silver lined crystal beads
Used exactly full skein of this yarn, 465 yards.

Launder: Hand wash in luke warm water, block dry.
