Getting ready for next KAL. Found two yarns in my stash that I will possibly use. Plenty more where that came from if I change my mind - like I always do when I plan too far ahead

Cast on in the wee small hours of the morning. Got the first two sections done, ready to work with the contrast color (Color B) next.

3rd section “Lower W” finished. Starting to shape up!

Finished the Right and Left Side Stripes and ready to start the Upper W section. Decided to throw in a narrow accent color stripe that matches one of the speckles in the contrast color. It was a choice between red and dark plum for the accent color. I figured red would make it look too Christmassy, and the Dark Plum will be a more subtle contrast. Dark Plum it is!

Finished the “W” - it was close, but had just a tiny bit of yarn left over from that skein of Happy Feet! Kinda playing yarn chicken for a while there.
And now - the decision on the yarn to use for the final two sections of Color A part of the design. I love the Dark Plum stripe I put in the middle of the W. Been debating with myself ever since then whether to finish off with the Rainforest Heather (green) or Dark Plum.
I think Rainforest Heather wins!

Just a couple more rows, weave in a few loose ends, and I’ll be done!

Later that evening: It is done - I really enjoyed this project!
