Test for Linda Marveng.

I’m very happy with the finished cowl. It fits me well and is a great supplement to the Japana sweater. It’s elegant and a great neckwarmer.
The pattern was easy to follow.

Test thread

I used leftovers from my sweater.

For the cowl, I will go down one needle size and use 4.0 mm needles.

Gauge in cable pattern (not stockinette), washed and dry, measured flat and unstretched:
59 sts and 27 rows (also see calculations on bottom of page)

Yarn: Matilda from Garnspesialisten.no
254 g when starting.
143 g left.
111 g used total.

Measurements:

• Washed and laid to dry - measurements wet 33 cm height and 25 cm width.
• Measurements after drying: 34 cm height and 23 cm width.

To calculate gauge, I did this:
- 92 rows per 34 cm x 10 = 27 rows per 10 cm
136 sts per 23 cm x 10 = 59 sts unstretched = 10 cm
