Test thread
Pattern gauge:
Pattern gauge: 32 sts and 40 rounds.
My round gauge might be a bit looser, so I will watch the length. I hope to stretch it widthwise to get the correct stitch count (which was tighter in my swatches) AND round gauge. So I plan to block my mittens this time, with DIY mitten blockers (links on bottom).
My gauge with needle 2.5 mm/ 10 cm:
Unwashed: 36 sts and 36 rnds
Washed: 32 sts and 35 rnds
Swatch:
I used these two projects below as swatches, both worked with needle 2.5 mm:

Gauge unwashed and washed: 34 sts, 38 rows with needle 2.5 mm.

Gauge unwashed: 34 rnds/ 38 rows with needle 2.5 mm.
Gauge washed: 34 rnds/ 36 rows with needle 2.5 mm.
Notes from designer:
ADULT SMALL UNLINED mitten. Could you please knit the LEFT mitten?
Testers will only be required to test ONE MITTEN for this test. I will assign testers EITHER the LEFT or the RIGHT mitten (obviously, you are welcome to knit both, but you are only required to complete ONE MITTEN for this test).
