This is a bit interesting as a pattern because it gives instructions for the body of the sweater and then references instructions for other garments to make the additional pieces. The collar was a bit hard to figure out. The closest I found in the instructions referenced was a two-color collar with eyelets. That didn’t match the image for the pattern I was working. I decided to keep the eyelets but make it all one color. The cuffs were also not clear since the referenced instructions were to continue knitting sleeves knit top to bottom, not to make separate cuffs to sew on. They didn’t have eyelets in them like the picture for the pattern I was working did. It’s not complex, but you do have to make some educated guesses about how the pieces are meant to be combined.
The pattern said a tuxedo or v-neck or high neck sweater. I don’t actually think there ended up being any tuxedo neck instructions. It is not a term I’ve run into before so maybe “tuxedo” is just an alternate term for “v-neck” and the “or” was used unclearly.
The belt is supposed to be made 45” long or as long as you like. I made that only 42” and should have made it shorter. Garter stitch stretches so much.
