Notes

Virva is a finnish femal name and goes back to
Finnish virvatuli = ‘will o’ the wisp’
’Will o’ the wisp’ is a ghostly bluish light sometimes seen at night or twilight over damp ground. In Finland, people believed that Will o’ the wisps marked the place of hidden treasures, and the best time to see it was at midsummer.
