Notes

Aloha is a greeting in Hawaiian that stands both for hello and good-bye. There is something wonderful, warm and bright in this word. It always makes me smile. Even if we say it in parting, we know that soon we’ll use it when we’ll meet again.

In the beginning of January, when my heart was skipping beats in anticipation of using this word again in the very place of its origin, I started working on this bright project. It started with some bright ribbon yarn and it was to become a very useful accessory for my vacation, the beach bag.
