Basing this rectangular blanket on the Surf & Turf Shawl with its slightly truncated feather & fan pattern mixed with garter stitch. Bought yarn in 6 colors loosely using pattern-recommended amounts. Cast on number of stitches for the shawl at the widest point and for the larger size and will see how it goes. (Who am I kidding? I’m not frogging this once I cut the cotton yarn at the end of a section.)
