I got the kit for this cardi from Angora Garnet. It’s knit flat from the top-down just like The Green Woods cardi, also designed by Kerstin Olsson. I could have (and maybe should have) steeked the front and then picked up and knit the button bands. Anyway. I knit the yoke, then the back, then both sleeves at once. I started the fronts (both at once like the sleeves) and realized I forgot the final increases for the armpit. I briefly thought about ripping the back out up to the armpit after finishing the fronts, but laughed at the thought and knit 2 strips the width of the increase + selvedge stitches. mewmewbecky seamed it for me and wove in the ends (get yourself a friend who enjoys seaming & weaving in ends!) and all that’s left now (3/3/22) is to pick out buttons, sew them on, and wash & block it. A note on the button band: my buttonholes are unevenly spaced (I kept forgetting about them!), on the wrong side, and also wonky. I think I’m just going to live with them, but if I had this to do over again, I would seriously think about steeking it.
