Luisa’s wish for Christmas: Gryffindor socks.

Searched my stash - no bright red, no golden yellow.
So I decided to use my Kool Aid and dye the yarn myself.
This was real fun!

Then searched Ravelry and found the bag pattern named above which I’ll encorporate into toe-up socks.
The Gryffindor Lion is gold on a red background, so I changed colors of the pattern chart.

Started with 8 stitches for the toe, then increased on both sides up to 60 stitches - the girl has very narrow but long feet. The heel is a German short row heel with 10/10/10. Increased for the leg to 66 (2 x 33 sts) and changed the starting points of the Addi Crazy Trio sock needles so that the inner side is on one needle and the emblem completely on the second needle.

The BOR is on the inner side of the sock, changed the BOR place for the right sock.
