This is going to be a huge blanket from a drawing I made. It’s a Simpsons crossover with South Park, Spongebob Squarepants and Danny Phantom, four of the favorite cartoons of my gf.

The measurements are 396 stitches wide and 290 stitches up…. which makes a total of 114 840 stitches!! I’m using a 2 mm crochet hook, to reduce the size as much as possible.

I drew out the design on paper myself, because I couldn’t find any pictures that were good enough. That took about 10 hours, then took a picture of it and made a pattern from that picture, which accounted for another 10 to 15 hours.. Finally got started!! it’ll have about 30 colours in it :D

Total number of stitches: 114 840 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D Which will be my biggest project so far!!

08/07/15 almost 10%!! 28 rows done (10% is 30 rows, but well, couldn’t wait anymore) which equals 11088 stitches so far.. You’re starting to see a little bit of the scene going on at the bottom of the picture, but there are lots of characters still to come!

25/07/15 20%!!! Wooo! Man, I’m going to be in this for the long run!! It bloody huge! 60 rows, aka 23,640 stitches done :D And you’re finally seeing Squidward! Yay!! :) Really happy so far, a lot more yet to come ;)

28/08/15 almost 30%!!! Haha!! :D You can see Squidward, and Gerrit and Snowball!!! Yay!! XD I’m so happy that it’s building up so nicely! Too bad I can’t update more often… physically impossible!! ^-^

25/09/15 we’ve crossed the 110 rows mark for some time now!(officially bigger than 43 340 stitches) New characters are comic up :D yay for nelson almost being finished!!

30/10/15: finally seeming lots of bart, lots of lisa and lots of Kyle!! Cartman’s on his way too, just a little more hat!! God, I love this pattern! It’s so much fun!! XD

12/12 One stitch at a time…. Finally Homer is starting to show :) Finished up Cartman and have eyes for Bart ^-^

01/01/2016 Nothing better than starting the New Year with a new update: ^-^ I finished up Bart and Lisa, and got a big start on both Patrick and Homer XD Marge is rolling in steadily, just a little more hair and we’ve seen the last of her ;)

05/02 I can’t believe I finally reached sky colour! Yay!! The sofa is finished, we’re getting a lot of Patricks face in and a the new Guy’s legs are growing ;)

1502 I’m intent on finishing this project!! Yay for Patrick and Milhouse!! XD Dany Phantom coming into view, and a whole lot of Vlady and Mr. Burns. Now just left to finish up the remaining characters and we’re done :D
