Having a hard time picking up and purling sts… could do with a small crochet needle, but only have 4.5 and up.

Aargh!! This is killing me. Wrong st count, so need to rip up (phase 7) and try again.

Bought and read through pattern today! Very eager to get started - the construction is very interesting as it’s all knit in one go in a modular fashion. A relief, as I am not a big fan of having to sow a lot. Will go shopping for suitable yarn as soon as I am able.
