Notes

FINALLY finished it! looks lovely. the stitch definition with this raw silk yarn is awesome. I’m going to be borrowing it from my daughter every now and then…

August 2012 - just finished neckline, looks nice.
July 2012 - 5 balls left, up to the sleeve openings. Will aim for 2 balls max to finish shoulders, then 1 ball for each sleeve, and the last ball for bottom ribbing + neck edging, with the aim of having enough to make a complete sweater as it looks a bit tight!

This is from a 1984 “Pingouin” French catalogue that is now out of print.

Pattern is for cotton yarn, i’m adapting it to be seamless and will use 100% silk yarn.

Might be a bit short on yarn so doing the ribbing last and 3/4 sleeves if necessary. The stitch is looking very nice in this yarn so far.
