Came back to crocheting after a number of years of a hiatus. I made some mistakes with this pattern. Mainly my tension was very inconsistent. I was crocheting far too tightly as well. It ended up being more of an XS instead of a S/M with very little stretch. I made another one after this one and was much more successful.
