Baby Blanket made in dk cotton not Aran wool as pattern states, for ease of washing

The main feature of the blanket are the golden snitches, made from a bobble stitch. I found it helpful to leave a reasonable length of yarn for each end of the bobble so they could be tied off individually and the ends woven in to the back.

The blanket is made in double crochet which results in a fairly heavy end result with sensory addition of the golden snitch bobbles.
