This cardigan and hat were made for my grandson in age 3/4. The pattern is very easy to follow and having a choice of different sleeves makes the darker green colours suitable for small people. I love the red spotty buttons which pick up the cuff detail on the sleeves.

The leaf pocket is easy to make and I have added a photo of this separately.

I also made the hat but this turned out much larger than expected - although not a problem as his Mum can wear it too.

I am now moving on to making an actual caterpillar and all of the pieces from the original story.
