Made using bright colors for baby gift. Read all of the suggestions regarding stuffing as you go. Followed the pattern and did it at the end. Didn’t think it was too difficult to wait until it was completely knitted. Would probably try the “stuff as you go” when using a sock weight though.

Plan to make next one in more in a bulky weight yarn in more“traditional” monkey colors.

Used the Lifted stitch increase through-out. As a result, the monkey smile is a little odd looking where the red yarn shows a little out of line. Will try another type of increase around the mouth.

Over-all a very well written pattern. Would suggest that you read it all the way through before starting as it makes more sense.
