You know what’s pretty dumb? Making a pair of wooden slippers when it’s 39 degrees Celsius (102 Fahrenheit) and the humidity is high. Still, at least if anyone asks what it’s like to wear them in a sauna I’ll be able to tell them.

Putting that aside, the pattern was easy, quick and fun. Will probably make them again (when it’s cooler).

TOP TIP: count your rows. It’s so easy to get mixed up when you’re putting it down and coming back to it later.
