I am making it up as I go along.
First I knit a square, starting at one point, and then picking up sts for the border all around.
As I do not have much time to complete this blanket, I chose to use DK wool.
The baby was born this morning, and I finished the blankie for her before midnight. It is washed and blocking now.
The pattern in the middle block came out uneven, so I made it a feature and embroidered with beautiful Wollmeise remnants.
