I bought the magazine with this pattern 3 years ago, and as I was heading out to a stich and bitch I dug it up, found some yarn from my stash and cast on on my way there. Only after arriving did I realize that the printed pattern didn’t include charts, and so I had to improvise a little on the first rows. Luckily I was able to access the digital charts the next day, otherwise I would have been completely lost. Shout out to Pinneguri, who helped me out!
Love working from this pattern, as usual it is very thoroughly explained and well worked through.
Sept 6: Finished the body. That is always the easiest part. I usually start loosing my enthusiasm somewhere on the sleeves, and then by the time I get to the buttonbands and buttons it can take months to complete. We’ll see how this goes.
Sept 13: Finished the sleeves! Proud of myself for sticking with them. It helped that I spent the weekend going to a hotel a few hours out of Oslo, it gave me ample time to knit in the car. I knit the sleeves two at a time on magic loop, except for the elbow section with the flowers, which I knit separately and on dpns.
Finished the rest sometime in September, didn’t take note of the exact day. By December 2020 I still hadn’t added buttons. We’ll see how long it takes me.
