13 christmas balls, some duplicates, that will be given away as gifts. Knit in single strand Finullgarn, around 7 cm ø styrofoam balls from panduro.com. I washed them all in the washing machine on 40 degrees C. I would have liked them to be even more felted, next year I’ll wash them on higher heat.

Some patterns are from the Arne and Carlos book, some are copies of Yarnjungle’s beautiful julekuler, and one is a modified version of a balls up ball.
The balls:

• Frost - the last ball of the year. Knit for my mom and her family, because my younger sister strongly indicated the need for more balls knit in metallic thread.

• Snow crystal - also for my mom

• Dovre - such an easy pattern to memorize. I knit three of this one, for different people.

• Tree leaf clover - another pretty easy one, from the book. Knit two balls this year.

• Tricolor - I’ve knit a couple of these before. Only knit one this year. A little fiddly with three strands. Best suited for knitting at home.

• Mitten - Only one this year. Quick and easy.

• Yarnjungle diamonds - Love this simple, beautiful design. Have knit a couple before, added two more this year.

• Yarnjungle twirl - Another simple, gorgeous design copied from yarnjungle’s project photos. Have knit this before, only made one this year.

• Balls up - I realize now that the bottom should have been red. I’ll try to remember that if I knit any more next year. This year I settled for one.
