Making Happy using various colors of cotton found in my stash.

Happy was definitely a labor of love. She was a lot more work that I anticipated. She was worth it though, as I gave it to my daughter on her 2nd birthday. (I finished embroidering the eyes the night before I gave it to her - talk about cutting it close!) Using worsted-weight yarn made Happy quite large. My daughter likes to sit on her & ride her. She took around 30oz of polyfil.

The pattern was very well written & easy to follow. I whip-stitched the motfis together as I didn’t get the hang of the JAYG method.
