The yarn is more like a DK weight, so I worked with 2 strands on this pattern. It has a nice, subtle sparkle to it, which pleases a certain 2-year-old that I know. It took nearly the full 2 skeins of yarn that I had.

The pattern was very, very well written and easy to follow. It worked up quickly, which was perfect for a holiday gift.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this project and would do another!
